ESMA's Product Intervention Renewal Decision in relation to binary options
On 14 December 2018 the European Securities and Markets Authority (Esma) has agreed to renew for a further three month period, from 2nd January 2019, the restriction on the marketing, distribution or sale of binary option to retail clients, in effect since July 2nd 2018, and already renewed for a three-month period.
