Consob invites all investors to check with particular attention the lists of investment firms which are actually authorised to provide investment services in Italy (/web/area-pubblica/imprese-di-inilizia1) as well as to check all the warnings published for the protection of investors (/web/area-pubblica/avvisi-ai-risparmiatori) and, in any case, to exercise the utmost caution before making any investment choice.

Consob also recommends to check the "Occhio alle Truffe" (Beware of frauds!) section of its website, to prevent the risk of online scams.
