Gabriella Alemanno is serving as CONSOB commissioner since June 8, 2023.
Graduated in Law with honors from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1979, she is admitted to practice law.
Board member of ITA Airways from November 16, 2022 to May 30, 2023.
During her career, she has held various management positions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and, from 2003 until her retirement, she was a top executive.
An expert in tax and administrative law, she has extensive managerial experience in complex public organizations.
From a technical and professional perspective, she has been particularly involved in tax, administrative and accounting matters, in the Gaming Market Regulation, and in the Italian public and private real estate field.
She has taught at universities, at the Higher School of Economics and Finance and at the Italian Financial Police.
She has written technical papers and essays in her fields of expertise and participated in conferences and seminars as a speaker.
Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2010.
In 2007 she was the winner of the Marisa Bellisario Prize.
