Finance on the stage is an experimental project of financial education, mixing the theatrical account/representation of a significant financial affair with a subsequent debate - at the informative level - in which the lessons of theatre that can be learned and applied for the defence of savers and investors are highlighted. In the representation "Be aware of fraud!" the theme of scams inspired by the so-called Ponzi scheme is addressed. The actor and director Massimo Giordano plays Charles Ponzi, the Italian scammer who became famous for its large-scale use of the scheme still known today with his name, which is nowadays copied in various modern ways by e-mail and the web, too. The interventions by Nadia Linciano and Paola Soccorso (Consob Economic Studies Office) are thereafter planned. The initiative is free. Participants will be accepted up to available seats. The full description of the event can be found on the Consob website in the "events" section.
