Restrictions on CFDs - Dec 2018 - CONSOB AND ITS ACTIVITIES
Esma to renew restrictions on CFDs for a further three months from 1st February 2019
On 18 December 2018 the European Securities and Markets Authority (Esma) has agreed to renew for a further three month period, from 1st February 2019, the restriction on the marketing, distribution or sale of contracts for differences (CFDs) to retail clients, in effect since 1st August, and already renewed for a three-month period.
