Re: Banca Carige S.p.A. rights issue

On Monday 8 June 2015 the rights issue by Banca Carige S.p.A. begins.

This rights issue is part of the so-called capital increases with significant dilutive effect, i.e. rights issues which have a particularly low K factor.  

As in similar case – see Consob Communication no. 0041438/15 of 22 May 2015  – this implies the risk of price anomalies during the subscription period of the new shares.

Taking into account the above considerations, Consob will monitor, as usual, the trading activities on Banca Carige S.p.A. shares (ISIN code IT0005108763) during the subscription period.

It is therefore recommended that investors and market participants comply with the rules ensuring market integrity.
