Consob, Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Banca of Italy and, as of today, also IVASS have renewed the Memorandum of Understanding by which the Observatory on the presence of women in the insurance industry was born from 2019 the Observatory on the presence of women in Italian companies.

The goal of the initiative is for institutions to share analysis and data on the presence of women at the top management of Italian corporations, including those with public control, companies listed, banks and insurance companies. The Observatory aims to verify over time the effects of the application of regulations on the gender composition in the bodies of Italian companies and promote initiatives to make even more effective and incisive action to support the presence of women in corporate bodies.
