“I Fuoriclasse della Scuola” gets under way: FEduF (ABI) and MIM join forces to enhance the talent of Italian students - CONSOB AND ITS ACTIVITIES
FEduF press release of 25 May 2026
Milan, 25 May 2026 – Promoting young people’s talent through inclusion and the development of economic citizenship skills: this is the objective of “I Fuoriclasse della Scuola”, the project promoted by the Foundation for Financial Education and Savings (FEduF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM), as part of the ministerial programme for the promotion of excellence.
Now in its eighth edition, the project has been renewed by broadening the concept of excellence: not only academic performance, but also commitment, awareness and equal educational opportunities. This evolution introduces new inclusion-oriented criteria and makes it possible to involve a wider group of students.
“I Fuoriclasse della Scuola” is part of the MIM–FEduF Memorandum of Understanding signed in May 2025 and is implemented with the collaboration of ABI, Confindustria, Consob and the Museum of Saving, institutional partners committed to spreading key skills for the future of new generations.
In the previous seven editions, 405 scholarships were awarded, for a total value of 810,000 euros, thanks to philanthropic contributions from companies, banks and private organisations.
At the heart of the initiative is the Fuoriclasse residential Campus, a three-day educational experience designed and organised by the Museum of Saving in collaboration with Consob. The Campus encourages interaction among students who have achieved excellence in different subjects and supports the development of basic skills in financial education and personal finance.
The Campus is aimed at the winners of the School Competitions and at a selection of male and female students from a number of schools in the metropolitan area of Rome. The Campus will focus on the theme of uncertainty in everyday decisions: through an interactive approach, the programme combines testimonials, laboratories and practical workshops, stimulating critical thinking, responsibility and awareness in economic and personal choices.
The 2026 edition opens with the launch of a philanthropic fundraising campaign involving companies and institutions that share a commitment to education and inclusion. The list of selected students will be announced in autumn; the programme will end with the Campus and the final award ceremony.
The Campus will take place at Borgo Laudato sì, in the Papal Gardens of Castel Gandolfo (Rome): a laboratory for education in integral ecology, environmental sustainability, and circular and generative economy, ideal for an experience focused on responsibility, long-term vision and the link between individual choices and the common good.
The “I Fuoriclasse della Scuola” project is made possible thanks to the philanthropic donations of companies and organisations investing in the future of new generations. To support the initiative: www.fuoriclassedellascuola.it

The Foundation for Financial Education and Savings (FEduF) was established on the initiative of the Italian Banking Association to spread financial education from the perspective of informed citizenship and economic legality. The Foundation’s objective is to involve all stakeholders interested in promoting a new culture of economic citizenship, enhancing different initiatives, overcoming individual approaches and pooling experience in the interest of the community. It works in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit and with local Education Offices, and disseminates innovative educational programmes in schools of all levels, both in form and content, including through the organisation of events for students, teachers and parents. The Foundation works on cultural mediation between complex content and simple, effective communication tools. Its initiatives are also aimed at adults, in collaboration with consumer associations.
The Museum of Saving is an innovative and engaging place dedicated to financial education. Created in 2012 on the initiative of Intesa Sanpaolo, it has always been a space where people can approach the concepts of saving and investment through clear and simple language, with the aim of improving their level of financial literacy. The Museum is aimed at a diverse audience – adults, teenagers and children – and seeks to encourage the active participation of its visitors. It is not a traditional museum, but a unique “edutainment” project, where technology and interactivity are used to surprise visitors.
