From 11 November 2023, only crowdfunding service providers for business who have obtained authorization pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 and who are registered in the specific Register of crowdfunding service providers held by Esma (article 14 of the Regulation) with this qualification can operate in Italy.

Starting from the same date, the national regulation (article 50-quinquies of the Consolidated Law on Finance, including paragraph 2) is no longer applicable.
