Financial market supervisory authorities in Europe - CONSOB AND ITS ACTIVITIES
This page provides access to the websites of the national competent authorities responsible for the supervision of financial markets in the countries of the European Union and in other European countries.
For each country, the following information is available:
- the institutional website of the authority in English;
- the link to the sections dedicated to the lists of authorised intermediaries or to publicly accessible registers.
National authorities play a central role in the regulation and supervision of financial markets, also within the European Union regulatory framework and in the context of the activities of ESMA - European Securities and Markets Authority.
Access to the official registers of intermediaries makes it possible to verify the authorisation and supervisory status of entities operating in the various countries.
