Chair of CONSOB (Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa), appointed by decree of the President of the Republic of 6 August 2026 for a seven-year term.
Guido Stazi took office as Chair of CONSOB on 12 August 2026.
Previously, he served as Secretary General of the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) from 8 March 2022, where he had already served as Head of the Economic Evaluation Committee.
From June 2013 to December 2017, he served as Secretary General of CONSOB and, from 2005 to 2012, as Head of Cabinet of the Italian Communications Authority (Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni).
After graduating in Law from Sapienza University of Rome, he served as Assistant in Economic Policy at the University's Faculty of Law and in Public Finance at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. He taught Economics and Competition Policy at the Faculty of Economics and Banking of the University of Siena.

Chiara Mosca
Acting Chair of CONSOB (Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa) since 9 March 2026. Appointed member of the Commission by decree of the President of the Republic of August 6, 2021 since September 2021.
Associate Professor of corporate law at Bocconi University (currently on leave).
She is currently Vice-Chair of the OECD Corporate Governance Committee.
She served as member of the Consultative Working Group, the group of experts supporting the Corporate Finance Standing Committee at ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority).
She is research fellow at Centro Baffi-Carefin, Università Bocconi.
She is editor member of the editorial committee of Rivista delle società; author of the scientific monograph "Azione di concerto e opa obbligatoria" (Egea 2013) and many papers and contributions in the field of corporate and capital markets law published in Italy and abroad.
She graduated, magna cum laude, in Economics and Business Administration at Bocconi University. She received a Master of Science in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics and a PhD in internal and international commercial and corporate law from the Università Cattolica of Milan.
