This page contains the list of SMEs within the meaning of art. 1 w-quater.1) of the Consolidated Law on Finance as amended by the art. 2 of Law 5 March 2024, n. 21.

The list includes only companies with registered office in Italy with (at least) ordinary shares admitted to trading on EURONEXT MILAN (formerly MTA). Therefore, foreign companies listed on the same market and Italian companies with only listed savings shares are excluded from the list.

With reference to the process of publishing and updating the list, it should be noted that the acquisition of the status of "SME" derives from not exceeding the threshold relating to capitalization (1 billion euros) in at least one of the years of the three-year period examined (2021, 2022 and 2023).

For the loss of "SME" qualification, the capitalization requirement must be exceeded for three consecutive years.

The list is published for informational purposes. The responsibility of the issuers for the verifications aimed at the qualification of PMI remains unchanged, according to what is indicated in the paragraph 2 of the art. 2-ter of the Issuers Regulation.
